    Description

    Here is a beautiful early american pattern glass flint bowl manufactured by New England Glass Co. in the 1860's
    .  The name of the pattern is called "Fine Rib", also known as "Reeded" and "Fine Rib to Top". The bowl is oval in shape and measures 8 inches long by 5 inches wide. Has a beautiful resonant tone when tapped and is a yellow color under a black light. Very good condition with its only issue a small chip on the top of one of the scallops on the rim.  Nice antique piece.
