    Description

    Pair of Antique Flint Glass "Thayer" pattern ( Diamond Point / Columns )  whale oil lamps. The Thayer pattern was made by Flint between 1885-1930.  I have not seen the oil lamps in a catalog, but the pattern matches Thayer.
    These were converted to electric but done in the reversible way.  I removed the electric sockets (I will send them if requested) but not the part that is inserted into the font.  One of the lamps got some water in the font when I was washing it- I'm not sure if it got through the insert in the top of if one of the inclusions I can see in the font is actually a crack- it's hard to tell and there are many "flaws" or lines in the glass from the blowing process.
