    Description

Antique Glass Reverse Intaglio Angel Glass Pendant, Victorian Intaglio Lot of 5.
A very pretty reverse intaglio glass cabochon depicting three little cupids playfully blowing bubbles.
As it turns out, during the 18th century depictions of figures blowing bubbles symbolised life’s fragility and the fleeting moment between life and death...how utterly poetic.
The reverse intaglio is clear with gorgeous carved detail on the back and it was found at an antique's market in New York.
The glass charm is original and possibly dates back to the early 1900's.
The rectangular charm measures approximately 2cm high by 3cm wide.
These glass charms are perfect for soldering and jewelry projects.
They would have been used to make pendants and brooches but can be reused today for craft purposes.
Because of their age some of the charms may have slight imperfections or very small chips along the edges.
You are bidding on 5 in total which will be sold together in one lot.
