It just does not sit as low as I would expect. The stopper has several chips to the end of the stopper. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Displays really well. This is not an easy form to find.

    Boston & Sandwich Intaglio Engraved Floral & Wheat Flint Glass Whiskey Jug Circa 1860s
    Nice Boston & Sandwich flint glass whiskey jug with intaglio engraved floral and wheat wreath whiskey jug. Ground and polished pontiled base. Applied handle. Cut faceted hollow stopper.
    The stopper may or may not be original, but it fits very well. May have original been part of a pair and the stopper went to the other decanter, but fits perfectly. It just does not sit as low as I would expect. The stopper has several chips to the end of the stopper. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Displays really well. This is not an easy form to find.
    Measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide x 8 3/8 inches wide including the stopper.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
