    Description

    Here is a very nice 19th century early blown amber jar / bowl. It was blown in a dip mold and is heavy/thick for it's size. In an old amber color, this jar features a widely beveled tooled mouth and pontil scar on the base. Correct base wear and some minor wear along the lower side edges. This has that bloom which is often seen in early blown glass. Excellent condition no chips,cracks,etc. Measures 4 1/8" Tall, 4 3/4" wide at shoulder.
