    Description

    Plate #296, titled "The Mouth of the Quinault" printed on Holland Van Gelder Dutch etching stock, paper dimensions 21 7/8th's by 17 3/4'ers overall. Typical size to the impression (16 3/4 by 13 1/2) and actual image area (15 1/2 by 11 1/2), proper paper watermark visible on reverse. Ready to mat and frame, no issues, very good condition, upper right corner in photograph shows shadow, not discoloration. Lovely image, hard to believe only 300 sets were ever produced. Why not have an original? As this is not a reprint, nor is it the smaller format more commonly seen at this price. Will be shipped flat. For sale on another platform.
