    Description

    Pittsburgh Clear Cut Fans Strawberry Diamonds & Laurel Leaf Celery Vase 1820-30s
    Beautiful early flint glass celery vase. Typical of the style attributed to manufacture at a Pittsburgh area glasshouse during the 1820s. Blown in a footed trumpet form with heavy knopped stem. Cut in the Pittsburgh strawberry diamond and fan pattern. This example also has a band of laurel leaves above the fans and panel cuts below the fans.
    Also has knotched cutting the rim and a star cut base.
    Has a beautiful bell tone ring typical of high quality flint glass.
    Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 5 inches wide x 8 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the displayability of the piece.
